Stress drains the body of magnesium and increases levels of adrenaline. Magnesium ions found in Magnesium Chloride (or Epsom salts) relax the body and reduce irritability by lowering the effects of adrenaline. When dissolved in warm water, it is absorbed through the skin replenishing the level of magnesium in the body. Epsom Salts Bath
Add 2-3 cups Magnesium Chloride flakes (or Epsom Salts) to a warm bath
If desired, add a few drops lavender essential oil
Soak for at least 15 minutes and up to 20 minutes up to three times weekly
Epsom Salts Foot Bath
Add 1/2 cup of Magnesium Chloride flakes (or Epsom Salts) to a basin of warm water
Add a few drops lavender essential oil (optional)
Relax and soak feet for 20 minutes three times weekly
